The Mission of the Senior Manager, Content & Communications (SMCC): 

To establish a Plusgrade voice for our customers and prospects that speaks to our experience, perspective and value as the world leader in airline upgrade and ancillary revenue solutions,  and to constantly work to elevate that voice to more differentiated levels as we gain more experience, more customers and a broader market perspective.

To leverage the experience and POV of our in-house product and market experts while freeing them from daily content & communication responsibilities around client facing proposals and presentations, allowing then focus on their own core strategic objectives.  The SMCC will act as a writer, producer and editor, helping the entire team with best of breed communication and presentation strategies.

To build repeatable processes around the production of high quality client and prospect facing materials.   This includes creating a library of best of breed materials and digital assets organized and stored using logical Digital Asset Management strategies.

What you'll be doing:

  • Single point of contact for all prospect & client communications, acting as producer, writer and editor for highest priority proposals and presentations and providing ad-hoc support and editing on other externally focused pieces as needed
  • Collaborate with key Plusgrade thought leaders to establish a process for capturing much of their current best practices thinking into repeatable messages where possible, and working to constantly evolve and elevate those messages
  • Ideate and propose improved concepts for more effective presentations and proposals
  • Contribute to initiatives such as designing powerful client dashboards and recommendations documents
  • Create & manage an online knowledgebase of communication assets
  • Provide thought leadership to the entire organization on how to improve messaging and presentation quality

About you: 

  • Minimum of 5 years in increasingly responsible communications roles
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in proposal writing and RFP responses.
  • Ability to not only produce high quality customer focused content but to coach guide and lead the commercial and product organizations in elevating the quality of their client presentations
  • Experience in building and managing centralized communications knowledgebase sources
  • Excellent writing and critical thinking skills
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English (ILR level 5)
  • Bachelors degree required
  • A passion for travel and experience in the travel industry would be preferred
  • Ability to work within our Montreal, Quebec, CA office and be able to legally travel to our offices in New York City, New York, USA
